Peter Gardiner Wooldridge was born in Krugersdorp on the 27th October 1943.
He matriculated from the Johannesburg School of Arts.
1965: He obtained a Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Witwatersrand, where he was voted Student of the Year.
1966: One-man exhibition at the same University.
1970: Combined exhibition at Goodman Gallery in Johannesburg, with George Boys and Anton van Vuuren.
1975: Commissioned to do a series of paintings for Industrialist Doctor MarinoChiavelli, which were sent to Italy.
Subsequently he followed a career as a Graphic designer, working for a number of top advertising agencies, doing corporate designing for many large Industrial and Commercial entities, inter alia Hewlett Packard and Rand Mines Limited.
1990: Combined exhibition with Michelle Nigrini at Skukan Galleries in Pretoria.
1995: Exhibition at Everard Read Gallery in Johannesburg.
2003: Exhibition at Bovidian Gallery during the Bloemfontein Arts Festival.
2004: Exhibition at Margaret Kelly Gallery in Welkom.
2004: One-man exhibition: Festival of Arts in Liberty Centre, Welkom.
His paintings have been proven popular with foreign buyers and subsequently many have been sold to private collectors in the United States of America, Canada, Dubai, Australia, Egypt and the United Kingdom.
His work has been exhibited by a number of top Galleries in South Africa, and adorns the walls of many private collections.
